Interviews: Citizen
We have interviewed a citizen and asked him about how it was dealing with the fire that raged on in Rome for several days. This was his response: “It was very hard dealing with the drastic changes because of the fire. We were constantly moving, as the fire kept growing. As the fire stopped, almost all of Rome was burned down. This meant for us citizens that this was going to be an extremely hard time to get food and water. Almost all of the shops were closed or burned down, making food and water hard to get. This meant that a lot of people started to starve and become dehydrated. Eventually, shops started to open up again, saving us from the starvation and dehydration.” Source: History Of Our World, pg. 264
